Measure the internal cabinet width and benchtop depth, then allow for clips, plumbing and adjacent appliances. Consider the largest cookware you regularly wash as well as available preparation space.

A pull-out hose can make rinsing the bowl, filling vessels and cleaning large cookware easier. Check hose clearance inside the cabinet and make sure stored items cannot obstruct its movement.

The outlet should direct water into a practical area of the bowl without landing too close to an edge or waste. Compare the mixer reach and height with the sink dimensions and mounting position.

Confirm the benchtop cut-out, cabinet support, waste route, water connections and any filtration or dishwasher branches. A qualified installer should follow the sink and tapware instructions.
